Recordist Turn Poems 1-4 [NDAS 2013-10a-d] are my audio renderings of 4 text pieces by William Davison and Sherri Higgins that had been submitted to the Nine Day Antler Society as the Recordist‘s contribution
for the previous month. They were originally written on September 24th 1989. I’d like to explore more of this kind of collaboration with the Recordists, weather permitting.

He lept up the dog's anus in fright.
His mother was there sitting in an old rocker.
She lifted her knitting needles high in the air
making the sign of the cross.
He, falling forward through the darkness,
grabbed a tin of tooth powder from the shelf.
In his panic-numbed brain a blinding light gouged at his eyes.
His mother gave him a sour look...
