Recordist Turn Poems 1-4 [NDAS 2013-10a-d] are my audio renderings of 4 text pieces by William Davison and Sherri Higgins that had been submitted to the Nine Day Antler Society as the Recordist‘s contribution
for the previous month. They were originally written on September 24th 1989. I’d like to explore more of this kind of collaboration with the Recordists, weather permitting.

Number 2
This day is liver and onions.
"My suit grows hair like anything," she said, admiring the fine scarf.
She tripped up the escalator eating old peanuts and vaseline.
She said hello to me, slapping her head with the back of her hand.
My tin banger whizzed around the room leaving a trail of green smoke.
Many flowers grew from the world around her and she fumbled with her hands
and breathed a heavy sigh.
The embryo was growing rapidly too now as Herman walked up the narrow ramp.
The doctor laughed and laughed and poked his finger into the putrid mess.
He knew his evil secret would never escape her bloated, purple lips.
Soon he would unbutton her blouse and fondle her many breasts.
With trembling hands he lifted the lid.
She bounced off the trampoline and landed in a lake of tar.
Her petticoat was ruined.
She cursed as Herman fell from the end of the ramp.
Where was that damned helicopter!?
