The Opening Testimony Of Mary-Anne [NDAS 2013-01-15], like ‘Black Teeth’, was inspired by the unique self-expression of psychologically divergent individuals. In this instance, it was from a woman I used
to see regualrly on the express bus from San Jose to Fremont. In her social interactions she was very meek and polite, but after sitting alone on the bus for a while she would begin a non-stop monologue full of aggression and anger, describing the various outlandish injustices that had been done to her.
